The Police Long Service Miniature Medal is granted to those who have completed 22 years of dedicated full-time service in UK constabularies, and was later expanded to include Australian, Papua New Guinea, and Nauru police forces in 1956. In 1976, the Australian award was replaced by the National Medal.
