GSM Radfan Clasp

Awarded for service in operations in the Radfan area of South Arabia during the period 25th April, to the 31st July, 1964, both dates inclusive. Eligible personnel; Officers and other ranks of the United Kingdom Land Forces who had 14 days or more continuous service in the operational area and were on the posted or attached strength of any unit serving in the South Arabian Federation. Personnel of the Federal Forces of South Arabia under the same conditions as the Army. Specially approved civilian categories who served with the Army in the operational areas providing they wore the approved uniform of their organisation and belonged to:- SSAFA Nursing Service, British Red Cross Society Welfare Service & WVS. This is the BAR ONLY and is supplied ready to be fitted to a General Service Medal 1962 onwards. Please note that fitting of these clasps requires specialist equipment.
