Medal Holder allows you to attach your medals to the holder and slip into a jacket pocket so you no longer need to push the pin through your jackets / blazers. Please note that your medals must be group mounted on a pin/brooch in order to use the medal holder. (click the image to add)

Instituted on 20th June 1974 to reward acts of exemplary bravery. Although intended as primarily a civilian award it is more often awarded to Military personnel for actions where military decorations would not be appropriate.

Awards of the gallantry emblem to the Order of the British Empire were ceased at this time with the intention that such acts would be rewarded with the QGM.

To date just over 1000 awards have been made together with 18 bars.
