Burma Star Miniature
The Burma Star is a campaign medal for British & Commonwealth forces during the Second World War. Awarded for service in Burma between 11th December 1941 and 2nd September 1945 provided the 1939-1945 Star had been earned. Those who subsequently qualified for the Pacific star were awarded a clasp PACIFIC, this is represented by a silver rosette on the ribbon when ribbons alone are worn. Those who had not qualified for the 1939-1945 star when the war ended were awarded the Burma star but not the 1939-1945 Star.̴Ì_
